Sekeping poskad yang telah berusia 30 tahun (1981) yang menggambarkan mengenai keindahan Lairig Ghru di Scotland, tempat yang sunguh sesuai bagi mereka yang gemar berjalan kaki merentasi tanah tinggi. Kita ikuti kisahnya:
Looking upstream to the great cleft of the Lairig Ghru in the Cairngorms. The route of this most arduous trek from Coylumbridge through the Lairig Ghru to Deeside follows the stream for some distance.
Coylumbridge, Scotland is a village in Inverness-shire, Scotland. It is 88 miles (141km) north of Edinburgh and 37 miles (60km) south west of Elgin, Scotland. Coylumbridge is situated in what is arguably one of the most beautiful places in the country.
The Lairig Ghru is the best known hill-pass in Scotland. It climbs to an altitude of 835 metres and crosses through the central Cairngorms, one of the wildest areas in the country, and is a true classic walk. Walk the entire length starting near Aviemore on Speyside and arriving at the Linn of Dee, near Braemar on Deeside.
